Fetch and Frolic NY provides grooming and wellness services for cats and dogs, including baths, brushing, haircuts, deshedding, nail care, and spa packages. Service descriptions on this website are for general information. Your groomer will confirm the services best suited to your pet during the consultation at the start of each appointment.

2. Health and Vaccination Requirements

For the safety of all pets in our care, we require current core vaccinations as recommended by your veterinarian. For dogs, that typically includes rabies, distemper/parvo, and bordetella. For cats, it usually includes rabies and FVRCP. We may decline or reschedule an appointment if proof of vaccination is not available.

Please tell us about any medical conditions, medications, recent surgeries, or behavioral concerns before your visit. We do not use sedation or administer any medications.

3. Pet Safety and Our Right to Stop a Service

Your pet’s comfort and safety come first. If a pet becomes too stressed, shows signs of illness, or behaves in a way that puts the pet or our staff at risk, we may pause or end the service and contact you. In these cases we will explain what was completed and recommend next steps, which may include shorter sessions or a visit to your veterinarian.

4. Matting and Pre‑existing Conditions

Heavily matted coats may need to be clipped short for your pet’s comfort, and we will discuss this with you first. Grooming can reveal pre‑existing skin conditions, lumps, or irritation; we will point out anything we notice, but our observations are not a veterinary diagnosis.

5. Appointments, Pricing, and Pick‑up

We will give you an estimated pick‑up time at check‑in. Prices are confirmed before the service begins, and we will not add services without your approval. Please pick up your pet promptly when we let you know they are ready, so they can rest comfortably at home.

6. Website Use

The content on this website, including text, graphics, and articles, is provided for general information about pet care and our Services. Blog articles are not a substitute for advice from your veterinarian. You agree not to misuse the website, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access it by any means other than the interface we provide.
